What to prepare before asking for a shipping quote
You do not need to have every answer before contacting PGH. Start with the information you have, then use this checklist to fill in the details with your supplier.
Show us what you are shipping
Share a product name, supplier link, or clear photo, along with the quantity. Mention any batteries, liquids, or other special characteristics so the team can check the proposed service before dispatch.
Ask for packing details
If available, send the number of cartons, the dimensions of each packed carton, and the gross weight. Product dimensions alone may not describe the shipment once packaging is added.
If the goods are not packed yet, tell us what is estimated and ask your supplier when the final details will be available.
Connect the two ends of the journey
- Where are the goods in China?
- Are you working with one supplier or several?
- Which city and address in the Philippines should receive the shipment?
- Who can be contacted about receiving the goods?
Explain your timing
Tell us when the goods will be ready and when you would like them to arrive. A cargo-ready date and a preferred arrival date are different parts of the plan.
Review the scope before dispatch
Ask your PGH contact to explain the proposed route, charging basis, included services, and any additional charges or requirements. Confirm the receiving address and shipment reference before your supplier sends the goods.
